MyPrivacyKey is a suite of software tools that help protect your privacy in the digital form. The software uses industrial strength public-key cryptography to secure your data stored on your hard drive, removable media, transmitted on the Internet, etc.
MyPrivacyKey is designed to be portable so that you can carry it with you and use it anywhere you can find a computer to use. With this design goal in mind, it targets to run on any removable media such as a USB flash drive with a very small footprint. Besides, it shall not need any installation onto the host computer before use.

Features
The current features of MyPrivacyKey include:
- A data privacy interface for data encryption,
decryption, digital data signing and verification
- In its plain use, you can encrypt your important data before saving it anywhere; you can retrieve your data later by decrypting the encrypted data
- A more common use of this interface is to allow you send and receive encrypted and / or signed email messages through the Internet; encryption prevents any body from eavesdropping on your messages; signing enables the recipients of your messages to authenticate your messages
- A set of privacy tools
- PasswordBook, which you can use to record your account information and passwords securely on it
- AddressBook, which you can use to record your contact information securely
- CryptoBook, which you can use to take secure notes and index them
- An email client program (to be included), which allows you to send and receive messages securely
- An online help system that explains the use of cryptography and helps you walk through the steps using MyPrivacyKey.

Get a Copy
Click this link to download a copy of the software in the popular ZIP file format. When you are asked to open or save the file, choose to save it somewhere such as your desktop.
Although it is not strictly needed, after you get a copy of the ZIP file, you are encouraged to check the integrity of the ZIP file against its MD5 checksum. The MD5 checksum of this file is available here.
With the ZIP file you have downloaded, we suggest you unzip it using any popular ZIP tools such as WinZip® to a portable USB drive so that you can carry it with you and use it anywhere you want.
After that, go to the folder where you have unzipped it and double click the MyPrivacyKey.exe file icon to run it. Or run the executable jar file manually if you know how to do so. There is no need to install MyPrivacyKey before using it. There are no registry settings being added, changed or manipulated.
License
To run MyPrivacyKey, you need a digitally signed license based on patent-pending techniques. MyPrivacyKey initially comes with a trial license, which is valid for about 90 days since you first create your keypairs. The functionality of the program is fully available without any restrictions during the trial period.
Before your trial license expires, if you are satisfied, you are highly encouraged to purchase a per-user license that is issued specifically to you. A per-user license will remove all restrictions of a trial license after trial license has expired. If you do not purchase a per-user license after trial license has expired, however, you can still use it in a read-only or other restricted mode.

If you do not like to download and unpack the ZIP file yourself, we can provide you with a preloaded copy on a storage media of your choice:

procedures to reproduce the problem, please attach two log files –
mpk.err and mpk.out – under this
